Sadhu Sanga Retreat 2026 — Frequently Asked Questions
Cancellation Policy
My plans might change — until when can I cancel and get a full refund?
You can get a full refund until Feb 28, 2026.
Can I get a refund after the cancellation deadline if I find a replacement?
After the cancellation deadline of Feb 28, 2026 and until April 15 ,2026, you can find other people to take your spot. Once they register, we will refund your registration fee, after deducting the $25 transfer fee per person. Please email us at [email protected] when you have found a person to take your spot, we will be able to calculate and tell you the exact refund amount.
I have an onsite room and I would like to cancel my registration. I found some friends to take over my registration. Will they get my onsite room ?
When you transfer your onsite spots, the transferee will get an offsite room. When you cancel your registration, your onsite room will go to devotees who are in the waiting list. There are devotees who registered back in December and didn’t get onsite, because onsite was full in a couple of days. Many of them are still in the waiting list. So we try to be fair to devotees based on the time of registration. In the waiting list, we prioritize devotees with special needs like elderly devotees, health issues etc.
Registration & Accommodation
Can I get my own accommodation?
Yes. Please check the registration page for options.
Can I stay extra nights before or after the event?
Yes, we can book an extra night for you in the hotel. We are taking this additional work to help devotees as we understand they might get cheaper tickets for a day before or day after. It will be $190 per room per night including taxes. If you need rollaway beds for King rooms, it’d be an additional $25 per room per night. Please email [email protected] with your additional night request before March 15. Please note that Prasadam will only be provided starting from Friday dinner as part of your registration fees.
Hotel check-in and check-out times
Check-in: Friday, May 22 at 4 PM
Check-out: Monday, May 25 at 11 AM
Can I attend the kirtan for free?
No, you need to register to get access to the kirtans. It costs us to invite the kirtaniyas, their accommodation, setup the stage, decorate the kirtan hall, arrange the sound system, prasadam, etc, so you would need to pay to attend the kirtans as well.
Do I need to register my 2-year-old?
Yes, it is important that you register your daughter as well, even though you are not paying for her. The reason is hotels have a policy to limit the number of people in a room, regardless of their age. By knowing the total number of people in a group, we will be able to allocate a room accordingly.
Do I need to pay for children aged 5 or younger?
You are charged only for people who are 6 years or older on the first day of the retreat. You will need to accommodate your kids (5 years and younger) in any room option that you have chosen.
Can I attend only one day?
Day passes may be available if there is remaining capacity after those who have registered for the full event. Please check registration options page for more information in a couple of months for updates.
Transportation, Parking & Schedule
What is the closest airport?
This year’s Sadhu Sanga Kirtan Retreat 2026 will be held at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Located just 15 minutes from New Orleans International Airport (MSY)
What is the schedule? (To plan flights)
First kirtan: Friday, May 22 at 7:00 PM (dinner at 6:00 PM)
Final kirtan ends: Monday, May 25 at 1:00 PM
To-go lunch: Monday from 10:30 AM
What is the best way to get to the hotel from the airport?
While ride-shares like Uber or Lyft typically cost around $35, a budget-friendly alternative is the NORTA Airport Express (Route 202). For only $1.25 each way, this express bus takes about 30 minutes and drops you off at Poydras & Loyola—less than a 2-minute walk from the Hyatt Regency.
The bus departs from the Airport Lower Level (Zone B) approximately every 55 minutes. It is a great way to save money if the timing aligns with your arrival, but if you are on a tight schedule, a ride-share may be more convenient. You can check the current Spring Schedule here to plan your trip.
Is there a shuttle service?
Since all the rooms are onsite this time, there are no shuttle services needed. You can rent a car or take Uber/Lyft to reach the resort in 15 mins from the New Orleans Airport.

Parking is not free.
- With accommodation: Discounted valet parking is available for $31/day/vehicle with in/out privileges. Cheaper parking is also available in nearby public lots

General
Who is considered a disciple of Srila Prabhupada?
This refers to the direct disciples of Srila Prabhupada i.e. who received initiation from Prabhupada. We are happy to offer the retreat for free for disciples of Srila Prabhupada who register by Feb 28, 2026. It’s our humble reciprocation to the countless sacrifices they have performed for our movement and to all of us. As we did in previous years, they will need to do the registration and pay the amount now. When they check-in for the event, they will receive the reimbursement check for $350.
